Liberty Hall presents ‘A Night of Jazz’

Liberty Hall is presenting “A Night of Jazz.”

Senior Gringo, Annagrey and Purple Velvet Fox Jazz will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 13 in the city of Tyler venue, 103 E. Erwin St., an announcement said.

Senor Gringo plays a rich blend of Latin jazz. Members include guitarist and vocalist Richard Callahan, keyboardist Don Elbert, percussionist Elbert Wright and bassist Alex Blair and drummer Kevin Ewalt.

Annagrey was featured on “Oprah Winfrey Show’s” Pop Star Challenge and has toured with LeAnn Rimes as a backup singer. Annagrey’s most recent album was released in April.

Purple Velvet Fox is made up of guitarist and band leader Gary Hatcher, percussionist Joe Snider, saxophonist Jacob Wellman and bassist Alex Blair. The quartet plays classic jazz and original songs.

Tickets are available online for $18 at or at the door one hour prior to the show for $20. VIP Boxes, with seating for four, cost $125.
