Tyler Parks and Recreation’s Ninth Annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt will take place next week, the city of Tyler announced.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., Thursday at Lindsey Park, 1255 Spur 344 West.

The event kicks off with live music and ends with Easter Egg Hunts on the softball fields.

The Easter Egg Hunts are as follows: special needs children at 7 p.m.; children ages 3 to 5 years of age at 7:15 p.m.; children ages 6 to 8 at 7:35 p.m.; and children ages 9 to 10 at 7:55 p.m.

“Children will not hunt in the dark, and parents are not allowed on the field during hunt time, except for the special needs group. Only one group at a time will hunt,” a news release reads.

“Children can enjoy the Easter Bunny, Jubilee Face Painters, clowns, balloon sculptures, a bounce slide and much more. Concessions will be available.”
