Lake Columbia will be the topic at the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce luncheon on April 28.
Kelly Holcomb, general manager for Angelina Neches River Authority will provide updated information on the proposed project between Jacksonville and New Summerfield, according to a news release.
The luncheon will start at noon in the Norman Activity Center, 526 E. Commerce St., in Jacksonville. The cost is $12 per person for chamber members and $15 for nonmembers.
Holcomb was appointed general manager in November 2008, and served in varying capacities from water and wastewater operator to the planning and operations division manager and then to general manager. He has more than 25 years of experience, and dedicated his career to community service by serving on several local and state boards and advisory groups.
The luncheon is organized by the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and catered by Traditions.
