Women's auxiliary benefit fashion show set March 18

The Spring Fling fashion show is coming soon, and features international and local designers.

The event, which benefits The Salvation Army of Tyler’s women’s auxiliary, will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 18.

“Zacki’s Boutique of Lindale will present the latest spring fashions,” reads the written release. “These fashions will also be available for purchase.”

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will feature a large collection of used and new name brand boutique clothes such as Escado, St. John‘s, Damen and Draper, and Chico’s.

Shoes and handbags such as Ferrogamo, Dooney and Bourke, Kathy Von Zeeland and Jimmy Choo, plus beautiful jewelry, will also be available at bargain prices.

Fifteen to 20 local merchants will have booths featuring merchandise. Some of the merchants are: The Turquoise Door, ETMC Gift Shop, That’s a Good Idea, Nancy Larson Vintage Jewelry, Peggy Faulkner Enterprises, Lyle Art Club, Martha Hook, Peek-a-Boutique and Zacki’s Boutique.

Many of these merchants will have items for the silent auction. About 20 items will be featured on the silent auction tables.

At noon, the Spring Fashion Show featuring models from Zacki’s Boutique will showcase spring clothes. Chez Bazan will offer a box lunch consisting of deluxe chicken salad on a sour dough roll, pasta salad, chips and a sugar cookie.

Tickets are available for purchase for $25 by calling Margaret Perryman at 903-561-8509 or 903-571-5441. Tables of eight may be reserved and purchased as well as individual tickets. A limited number of tickets will be available.

Starting at 1 p.m. on March 18, tickets will be sold at the door of the Tyler Rose Garden Center for $5 for shopping only.
