A Rusk County man was arrested on multiple offenses after the United States Marshalâ€™s Service Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force acted on a Crime Stoppers tip, the Rusk County Sheriffâ€™s Office announced this morning.
On Sept. 24, the task force executed seven arrest warrants in the Sherman area, on Lyndon Jaye Hughes, according to a news release.
The release states that Hughes was taken into custody and transported to the Cooke County Jail, from where he is being transferred to the Rusk County Jail today.Â
The charges are burglary of a building, possession of a controlled substance and indecency with a child. Â
