Tyler police are investigating a rash of vehicles vandalized early this morning.
Don Martin, Tyler Police Department public information officer, said officers were notified about 1:30 a.m. about a car window being smashed in the 700 block of W. Rieck Road.
Martin said while officers did not locate the suspect or suspects, they did discover multiple vehicles had been vandalized during the night.
Police searched the area and failed to locate any suspects. They are investigating damage to other vehicles with numerous broken windshields, side windows and rear windows that were parked in the roadway and one driveway at the following locations:three on Kingspark Drive, two on Riverbend Drive, two each on Wendover Place and Montrose Drive, and one each one on Rieck Road, Birdwell Drive and Sterling Drive.
Martin said police will more than likely combine the incidents, making it one felony case.Police are seeking any information available that may lead to the identity and arrest of the people responsible for the damage.
