LONGVIEW --A group of neighbors may have saved a Longview man's life after a car crash Sunday.
Police said 17-year-old Colton Macdonald was speeding down H.G. Mosely Parkway near the intersection of Fairmont Street when he jumped a curve and landed in a parking lot.
Neighbors held up the car so it wouldn't fall over and crush the teen. Police said Macdonald hit and flipped another truck before he came to a stop.
"I was kind of freaking out, trying to stay calm," the truck's owner, Tyler Chimento, said. "There wasn't much I could do about it at that point."
Macdonald was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. CBS 19 has not received an update on his condition.
He was cited for speed in the accident.
