The Texans, a singing group from Branson, Mo., will perform during the Palestine Dogwood Jamboree’s “All American Country” show at Palestine Civic Center at 7 p.m. June 22.
The Texans have been in Branson with their own show for the last 20 years and also perform at their dinner theatre in Eureka Springs, Ark.
“We are so happy to bring this Branson group to Palestine for the first time,” Dan Manuel, producer of the Dogwood Jamboree, said.
Jake Penrod, who is a Hank Williams impersonator, also will perform.
The show also will feature a “Salute To George Jones,” who died recently.
Others who will perform are: Joe Hancock, Sissy Perry, Neal Hall, W.J. Copeland, Hal Roper, Tammy Bostick, George Lester and Manuel.
Three young artists will compete for the Dogwood Jamboree Talent Search for June and the winner will advance to the finals on Dec. 7.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Cavender’s, Hometown Pharmacy, Dogwood Diner, Bishops Bar-B-Q or by calling 903- 729-7080.
The advance ticket price is $12.50 per adult and $6 per child 6 years through 10 years. Tickets at the door are $15 per adult. Advance tickets can be purchased through 5 p.m. June 21.
Tickets can then be purchased at the door. During the intermission, door prizes donated by local merchants and businesses will be given away to ticket holders.
