Tyler resident Lucretia Howard, a certified nurse aide at The Heights of Tyler, has been named the Texas Health Care Association’s Certified Nurse Aide of the Year for Region 4, according to a news release.

Howard has worked as a certified nurse aide for 24 years. Howard was nominated by her co-workers and selected by a panel of long term care clinicians from across Texas.

She is always eager to learn and strives for perfection every day. She’s conscientious, energetic and charming and has earned the trust, love and respect of those she serves, as well as those she works with.
