The John Tyler High School Big Blue Band will perform their second annual March-A-Thon fundraising event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The band will march through neighborhood streets, stopping at homes to perform lawn concerts. Parents, neighbors and the community along the route who pledge $100 will receive a three-song performance, $75 will receive a two-song performance and $50 will receive a one-song performance.
There are three different parade routes. The first leg will be in the Pine Brook addition behind John Tyler High School and will travel down Brazos Blvd, Trinity Drive and Neches Drive. The second leg will travel down Silver Creek Drive, Pine Haven Road, Club Lake Drive, Fair Lawn Drive and Orr Drive. The third leg includes Wolford Avenue, Cecil Avenue, Breckenridge Street, Northridge Drive and 29th Street.
