LONGVIEW (KYTX) - According to eyewitness, Dennis Johnson, at around 10:15 Wednesday night, a Chevy Tahoe lost control and slammed into the Inspiration House in Longview.

The accident happened on the 700 block of Green Street, and 2 people were injured and sent to Good Shepherd Medical Center. Witnesses tell CBS 19 that two people were struck by the car. The 2 were attending a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and spent the end of the meeting talking on two benches outside of the building.

CBS 19 spoke with Latoya Addison, who claims she was the driver of the vehicle. Passenger Satoya Smith also spoke with us. Addison says she was driving West on Young street, and lost control. Her brakes wouldn't work due to running out of brake fluid. She turned north onto Green Street, and quickly swerved to miss an oncoming car. She says her steering wheel then locked up causing her to continue the sharp turn. The car continued until it was stopped by the building.

Satoya Smith says there were 3 of Addison's children in the Tahoe, but none of them were injured.

The condition of the two people hurt is unknown at this time.
