ATHENS (KYTX) - CBS19 has obtained preliminary autopsy results, which reveal that 4-year-old Victoria Wyatt died from multiple injuries, including a stab wound to her chest.

Victoria's mother, Stacie Parsons, 25, is charged with capital murder in connection with the girl's death.

And now, there are disturbing allegations from the little girl's father and a family friend, who say Parsons never wanted a daughter and was jealous of the little girl.

Victoria's father and a family friend tell CBS19 that Parsons was disappointed when she found out she was having a girl because all she ever wanted was a son, and that over time she became increasingly jealous of her common-law husband's relationship with little Victoria.

For grieving father Gary Wyatt, pictures of his little girl, Victoria, are all he has left to remember her by.

"When I came home from work every day she was right here at the door saying, 'Daddy's home,'" he said.

Investigators say the girl's mother admitted to murdering her daughter Monday after a fight with Wyatt.

"I've gone over too much of it in my head and what I could have done to change it, what I should have done that morning maybe to make it different," he said.

Preliminary autopsy results show the 4-year-old not only suffered from blunt force injuries to her head, but that she was also stabbed in the chest and drowned. The cause of death is listed at "homicidal violence."

"I knew she had been hit over the head because you could see the...I tried giving her mouth to mouth resuscitation right here and water came out and she was foaming at the mouth," Wyatt said.

Wyatt says his wife was disappointed that Victoria wasn't a boy, and that she would get jealous when he and his daughter spent time together.

"She wanted a little boy she could dote on," he said.

But he says he never thought for a second that his wife was capable of killing her.

"I couldn't imagine anybody doing this," he said. "I mean who could?"

Supporters have turned the family's front yard into a makeshift memorial -- leaving flowers, balloons and stuffed animals in honor of a life taken far too soon.

Wyatt says he hasn't given much thought to what his wife's punishment should be.

"I am so sick in my heart right now, I haven't even got time to think about her at all," he said.

Right now, he just wants to try to move on with his life.

"If I had my way, I'd never lay my eyes on her again ever," he said.

Henderson County Pct. One Justice of the Peace Randy Daniel says it could be anywhere from six to eight weeks before the final autopsy results are released.

Parsons is being held at the Henderson County Jail on a $2 million bond.

Funeral services for Victoria are scheduled for this weekend. Her viewing will be Saturday at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens. The funeral will be held there Sunday at 2 p.m. and burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Canton.
