The Palestine Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying two suspects involved in a burglary of a pharmacy building early Saturday morning.
Palestine Police officers responded to the Hometown Pharmacy at 101 Medical Drive on a burglary alarm Saturday at 4:45 a.m.
Police observed a side door as being unsecure and pried open. Nobody was located on the premises during a search of the building. However, two heavy-set males were seen on surveillance video, with one appearing to be carrying a long crowbar.
A full-size gray pickup was seen driving in the area several times prior to and immediately after the burglary, which resulted in the loss of more than $3,000.
Although the men were wearing hats and gloves, their photographs are being released in hopes that their features and clothing descriptions may trigger some recognition with the public.
Anyone having information regarding this or any other case in Palestine may call (903) 729-2254. Or, call Anderson County Crime Stoppers at (903)729-TIPS (8477). In all cases, citizens may remain anonymous.
