Eltife also was appointed to the Legislative Budget Board, a joint committee of the Texas Legislature that develops budget and policy recommendations for legislative spending. He said he has enjoyed his time as a member on the Business and Commerce committee the past few sessions and that he looks forward to working with the business community and legislators on important legislation for the state’s economic drivers.
