The passenger on a three-wheel motorcycle involved in the crash in the 5000 block of Paluxy Drive just after midnight Saturday has died from injuries she sustained.

She has been identified as Margaret Moore, age 67, of Tyler. This case remains under investigation pending toxicology reports.

On Saturday at 12:31 am, Tyler Police Officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Paluxy Drive. Witnesses reported that a motorcycle was traveling northbound on Paluxy at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear end of a vehicle that was also traveling northbound on Paluxy.

The rider of the motorcycle lost control and was separated from it. The motorcycle slid into the southbound lanes of Paluxy. A different three-wheeled motorcycle, or trike, was traveling southbound on Paluxy.

The rider of the trike did not see the disabled motorcycle in the southbound lanes until it was too late. The trike struck the disabled motorcycle, sending the trike airborne and ejecting Moore from the rear of the trike.
