The city of Tyler will launch a firework show tonight at Lindsey Park.
People attending the Tyler fireworks show will be able to enter the park beginning at 3 p.m.
Attendees can enter the park through the north entrance (soccer fields) only. Parking will be on the north side of the park.
The south side of the park, including the bike trails and disk golf courses will be closed early this morning so the fireworks can be set up.
Spur 364 will be shut down completely starting at 9 p.m. Only residents who live on Spur 364 will be able to access the street but must provide valid identification that they live on Spur 364.
Sunny 106.5 will be at the park broadcasting live before the fireworks and providing patriotic music to accompany the display.
The primary sponsor of the event is state Sen. Kevin Eltife, along with Mayor Martin Heines, Greenberg Smoked Turkey, the Tyler Morning Telegraph, Jeff Buie Used Car Sales, Sunny 106.5 and other anonymous donors.
