Accused teacher no longer employed by Frankston ISD

FRANKSTON (KYTX) -- A Frankston ISD Teacher who was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child is no longer with the district, according to school officials.

24-year-old Rachel Bauer of Frankston, was arrested June 20, and charged with solicitation of a minor, and inappropriate relationship with a student according to Frankston Police Chief Darren Goodman. Goodman said an unrelated investigation led to Bauer’s arrest after officers found inappropriate images and text on Bauer’s cell phone. Bauer had been with Frankston ISD for a year, and was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
