A Frankston ISD teacher was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child.

Rachel Bauer, 24, of Frankston, was arrested on June 20 and charged with solicitation of a minor and inappropriate relationship with a student, Frankston Police Chief Darren Goodman said.

Goodman said an unrelated investigation led to Ms. Bauer’s arrest after officers found inappropriate images and text messages on her cellphone.

Ms. Bauer has worked for Frankston ISD for a year, and was booked into the Anderson County jail with bonds totaling $25,000.
