On May 19th, 2014, at approximately 7 AM, Quinlan ISD Transportation Bus #82 was involved in a motor vehicle crash on FM 751 near the intersection of FM 429 in the South Hunt County area.

The bus was making its routine morning route when it collided with another vehicle that was also traveling on FM 751. A total of seven students were transported to Hunt Regional Hospital in Greenville for non-life threatening injuries, as well as the bus driver and the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash.

At this time, we have no information to indicate that there were any major injuries, and all of the students that were not transported were released to parents or taken by an alternate bus to school after being checked by medical personnel on scene. The cause of the crash is being investigated by Quinlan ISD PD, and if we have further updates on the condition of the injured.
