The Tyler Fire Department responded to a two-alarm structure fire last night at 707 Forest.
The initial call was received at 11:18 p.m. and the caller reported seeing fire coming from a house.
First arriving units saw fire on arrival and called for a second alarm. Five engines and one Ladder Company, along with a District Chief and an Investigator, responded to the scene.
The fire started in a bedroom, but the cause is still under investigation.
There was extensive fire, heat and smoke damage to the home, but fortunately no one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
