Horsefeathers Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Van Zandt County is hosting its 10th annual spring benefit Saturday.

The organization is a nonprofit that provides therapeutic horsemanship programs to children and adults with mental, emotional and physical disabilities, according to a news release.

The Feathers for Freedom benefit event will run from noon to 3 p.m. at the center, 1101 Van Zandt County Road 3611 in Edgewood.

The event features demos of students demonstrating their accomplishments on horseback in the arena, and an opportunity to meet the volunteers, horses and students.

The event is free and concessions are available onsite. Proceeds from the event benefit the center and its programs.
