(MCT) -- Residents in Kilgore have until April 7 to return a survey that evaluates city services and helps set priorities.

City Hall takes the evaluation very seriously, Kilgore City Manager Scott Sellers said.

"Based on the results of the 2012 survey, we had a banner year with capital improvement expenditures in 2013, expending more on capital improvements than any other year in our history ... about $5 million," he explained.

Officials also want feedback, under "Quality of Service," on how residents rank ongoing efforts. The list covers areas such as street sweeping, Main Street Program and the city library to Kilgore Economic Development Corporation, enforcement of traffic laws and crime prevention.
