The Patriot Talon will host Talon Talks: East Texas Job Outlook 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the University Center Ballroom at The University of Texas at Tyler.
The Patriot Talon is UT Tyler’s student-run media outlet.
Business leaders from top East Texas industries will share about landing a job and building a career, according to a Patriot Talon news release.
Tom Mullins, president and CEO of the Tyler Economic Development Council; Terrence Dixon, Brookshire Grocery Co.’s vice president of human resources; Tom Wilken, senior vice president/chief human resources officer of Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics; and Gary Bass, Eastman Chemical Co.’s human resources manager and recruiting coordinator, are scheduled to attend and answer questions about getting a job, building a career and the area’s job outlook for 2014.
The free event is open to the public. It is co-sponsored by Bruno’s Pizza and Pasta and Rocket Fizz. Bruno’s will provide a free lunch to registered attendees. The registration form can be found at www.patriottalon.com/talon _ talks.
