Jarvis Christian College, in Hawkins, started a program to help working adults finish their degrees.
Renaissance Program will begin April 1, according to a news release.
The program offers core courses including science, English and religion in a nontraditional setting. Class spaces will be offered first to students 24 and older who have never attended college or who already have a few hours.
“The program provides the opportunity for adults to go back to college for degree completion in Business or Criminal Justice, for now,” Dorothy Langley, JRP coordinator, said.
Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings or on Saturdays as well as online. The course delivery is designed to meet the needs of adults through the flexibility of face-to-face, hybrid and online classes during the evenings and Saturdays.
An information meeting about the JRP program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Jarvis CTC building.
