The Texas Department of Transportation will be working to improve roadways in seven counties this week.
Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge around the work zones.
TxDOT maintenance crews will continue base and pavement repairs on Northeast Loop 323 in Tyler, between the Loop 323 extension and Commerce Street.
A second crew is scheduled to continue edge work on Farm-to-Market Road 15 between Troup and the Rusk County line.
Crews will make base and pavement repairs on Farm-to-Market Road 349 near Lakeport, followed by the same work in various locations on Farm-to-Market Road 3272 and Farm-to-Market Road 2204.
VAN ZANDT COUNTY
TxDOT crews will perform fog seal operations on Farm-to-Market Road 773 between Interstate 20 and Texas Highway 64, and on Farm-to-Market Road 47 between Farm-to-Market Road 1651 and Texas Highway 198.
Crews will make base and pavement repairs on Texas Highway 204 between Loop 456 in Jacksonville and the Rusk County line, and on Southeast Loop 456 in Jacksonville between U.S. Highway 69 south and Texas 204.
Crews will continue base and pavement repairs on U.S. Highway 287 between Texas Highway 294 in Elkhart and the Houston County line.
Workers will perform resurfacing operations on Farm-to-Market Road 1643 northeast of Quitman.
A second crew will make edge repairs on Farm-to-Market Road 2659 east of Hawkins.
Crews will continue several weeks of base and pavement repairs on Farm-to-Market Road 95 between Texas Highway 315 and U.S. Highway 84 east of Mount Enterprise.
Crews will do edge work on Farm-to-Market Road 1803 between Texas Highway 31 east of Murchison and Farm-to-Market Road 317.
