An Arkansas resident won the coveted 1966 Mustang raffled off this weekend at the East Texas Auto & Cycle Show.
Karen Brown had the winning ticket — No. 06295 — which was drawn at the end of the annual auto and cycle show, and all proceeds benefit the East Texas Crisis Center, according to a news release.
The center helps victims of family violence and sexual assault by providing shelter, counseling and education, according to its website. The raffle is its largest fundraiser each year.
Tyler Ford donated a refurbished classic car for the 11th year. This year’s model was a 1966 convertible with a white exterior, black top and red pony interior. The factory Mustang had a GT package with an automatic 289 motor and had after-market air-conditioning. The original motor odometer read 55,000 miles.
