Woman found dead in Brownsboro

BROWNSBORO -- The death of a woman found in a home near Brownsboro Thursday night remains under investigation. Henderson County Sheriff's department officials say they do not have a cause of death at this time.

Sheriff Ray Nutt said deputies were dispatched to a home on County Road 3612 off of Farm-to-Market Road 607 about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in eference to a deceased person.

"We found a deceased white female in her 40s in the home and it was somewhat suspicious," he said.

Nutt said the woman's body was sent to Dallas for an autopsy and he expects to have a manner of death determination sometime today.

"Right now we don't know if it was a suicide or a homicide, but I expect to know something one way or the other probably by noon," he said.
