Groups team up to offer kid-free Valentine's day

Van Zandt County parents can have a Valentine’s Day night on the town kid-free.

The Walking Horse Gallery and Tyler Kenshin Kan are offering a parent’s night out on the lover’s holiday, Feb. 14 from 6 to 11 p.m., according to a news release.

Children 6 years old and older will be entertained with an evening of movies, karate art and pizza.

Parents are asked to drop children off at the library in Ben Wheeler between 6 and 7 p.m., and parents can go enjoy dinner or nightlife. Parents are asked to bring a blanket for floor sitting, and children must be picked up by 11:30 p.m.

The event costs $15 per child and is limited to 40 children.
