A steering committee meeting for the Tyler 1st Comprehensive Plan is in progress this morning.
Assistant City Manager Susan Guthrie said attendees would see a draft of implementation plans.
"They'll get to walk away and can give us feedback...," she said. "This is kind of the culmination of a whole year's worth of work."
Audience members have received implementation plan updates from various city officials so far this morning.
Among new items are reviewing policies/state laws to implement shared lanes for bicycles, developing Stewart Park as the first heritage park and developing and implementing a Black History Month program.
TylerPaper.com will post additional details as they become available.
