LONGVIEW — The Winona man charged with brutally killing a teen at a Longview mobile home park last week lured the victim through a fake Facebook account, according to an eight-page arrest warrant.
Alejandro Gallegos-Garcia, 22, is in jail on $500,000 bond and is charged with the death of 19-year-old Andres Chavez, of Longview. Chavez’ body was found on Dec. 23, beside an oil well at Whistlestop Mobile Home Park, in the 1100 block of Sabine Street.
In a court record filed by a Longview police investigator, an informant said Gallegos-Garcia attacked Chavez after luring him by posing on Facebook as a woman.
According to the record, Gallego-Garcia apparently was convinced that Chavez intended to sexually assault a woman Gallego-Garcia knew.
