VIDEO: Tyler police seek info on robbery

Tyler Police are looking for a group of women accused of assaulting and robbing another woman Monday evening.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Oakland Street at 7:11 p.m., according to a news release from the department.

A 29-year-old woman was walking on Oakland Street when a dark-color, four-door truck pulled up. Three black females got out and approached the victim, the release states.

One of them took her purse and they struck her several times.  The women then got back in the truck and left.  

The woman was taken to East Texas Medical Center where she was treated for nonlife threatening injuries.  

The incident remains under investigation by the Tyler Police Department.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
