VIDEO: Tyler police seek help identifying robber

Published on Monday, 23 December 2013 09:07 - Written by Staff reports The Tyler Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a man who robbed a Tyler gas station on Sunday.

About 11:53 a.m., a man walked into the Valero gas station, in the 6500 block of South Broadway Avenue, and demanded money from the register, according to a news release from the police department. He did not display a gun.

The man was approximately 5-foot-8, with a slender build and wearing a dark-colored mask over his face. He was wearing a black and blue plaid print jacket with a light colored hooded sweatshirt underneath, blue jeans, black and white sneakers and blue gloves.

The man fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, the release states.
