Christmas has come early for Halloween shoppers.

Tyler Civic Theatre is preparing to cull their wardrobe for the first time in nearly a decade with a massive clothing sale this weekend.

Executive Director DeAnna Hargrove said the theatre will be moving more than 1,500 pieces of wardrobe, with most articles selling for less than $25.

Hargrove said not only will the sale make their wardrobe more manageable, but it also will benefit the theatre’s youth troupe as they head to the Texas Nonprofit Theatre Youth Conference next year.

Hargrove said the theatre is trying to cut many styles down to just a few pieces in various sizes.

Even with so many articles of clothing available, the theatre still will have thousands of pieces on hand for their shows.

The biggest group of items will be vintage clothing.

Clothing ranges from age four through adult and in every style imaginable.

The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Tyler Civic Theatre, 400 Rose Park Drive.
