Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge will present its first Prowl-O-Ween on Oct. 14. Activities for children will include a petting zoo, bounce house, pumpkin painting and candy stations, according to the announcement.

Children are encouraged to dress in a costume. Those who bring a pumpkin will receive half off admission, the announcement said.

“I am so excited to announce this new event for Tiger Creek and provide a safe, fun-filled environment for all ages,” said Kimberly Werner, director of programs and services.

Tiger Creek is located at 17552 Farm-to-Market Road 14, three miles north of Tyler State Park.

The nonprofit organization provides a home for rescued big cats and focuses on animal conservation and education.
