Black Jack is a 2-year-old male Newfoundland mix available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler after his owner abandoned him. Black Jack is a very big guy; he weighs 85 pounds. The Newfoundland breed is extremely kid-friendly and a great family dog. Black Jack has been neutered, is current on starting vaccinations, including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification purposes. For additional information on adopting Black Jack, call 903-597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website, petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective-admission, no-kill animal sanctuary. It offers dog boarding and routine vaccinations, except for rabies, for dogs and cats. Follow it on Facebook and Twitter. Please be a responsible pet owner; spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
