To mark the anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, the Tyler Public Library has two days of events and a memorabilia display on the first floor.

The highlight will be guest speaker David Henderson, the Smith County Democratic Party chairman. He will discuss Kennedy’s administration from his party’s point of view at noon on Friday.

Other offerings include oral histories from The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza’s collection and films from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum and National Geographic.

All events are in the library’s Taylor Auditorium and are free of charge.
