VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Camp Out VBS at Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church, 417 County Road 1143 in Tyler is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be provided. The Tyler Council of Church Women is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the North Tyler Developmental Academy, formerly the North Tyler Day Nursery, 3000 N. CHILDREN'S MUSIC CAMP
Sing and Ring Music Camp is open to all rising first- through fifth-grade students, and offers learning opportunities that include singing, Orff instruments, handbells and handchimes. The four-day camp, which will run Aug. 7 to 10, ends with a special evening performance on Aug. 10. BRANSON AT HOLLY BROOK

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will have an Overstock Sale for the public at its Marketplace furniture building and Old Spence garage sale building from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 19. The buildings are located on the southeast and northeast corners of Spring Street and Bow Street in downtown Tyler. All proceeds will benefit the Tyler Salvation Army.
Sight.org will have Sight Night "The Joy of Sight" from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 3 at Callynth Photography Studio in Tyler. Tickets go for a $5 minimum donation. The event will include local art, live music and food. All proceeds will benefit the work of Sight.org to restore sight to the blind in Togo, Africa.
