Buddy is a 2-year-old male yellow lab mix available for adoption at Pets Fur People (formerly the Humane Society of East Texas) in Tyler. He is a big guy; Buddy weighs 86 pounds. He is house trained and would be a great alarm system for a single person. Buddy gets along with other dogs and cats and loves people. He enjoys going for walks and taking leisurely drives in the car — especially convertibles! He knows some basic commands and understands, “I want to adopt you, Buddy!” He has been neutered and is current on starting vaccinations, including rabies. Buddy has been microchipped for identification purposes and when adopted he will receive 30 days of pet health insurance. For additional information, call 903-597-2471 or check the Pets Fur People website, petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Pets Fur People is a selective-admission, no-kill animal sanctuary. Follow it on Facebook and Twitter.
