Tyler’s newest Tractor Supply Co. store will hold its grand opening Saturday.
“Southeast Tyler is a great location for Tractor Supply Company because the store is centrally located, and the people here live the rural lifestyle that our products support,” Store Manager Ken Enneking said in a statement.
The store, at 13641 Texas Highway 110 South, opened for business July 5 and is celebrating with an event Saturday that will feature a local radio remote, burgers and hot dogs served by the White House Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., products from Dylan Manufacturing, the Smith County 4-H Club and an antique tractor show starting at 8 a.m.. The store also will host a pet vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Through Sunday, the store will offer specially priced merchandise and shoppers will receive 10 percent off their first purchase, up to $100. They also can enter to win prizes, including store gift cards, a lawn mower and chain saw. Caps also will be given away.
The second Tyler location is Tractor Supply’s 144th store in Texas. Tractor Supply started in 1950 and with more than 1,300 stores in 48 states, is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the U.S., representatives said.
“We have a variety of products for our neighbors’ everyday needs,” Enneking said. “Our knowledgeable, friendly team looks forward to providing legendary Tractor Supply customer service to the community members.”
Enneking joined Tractor Supply in 1990 as a manager-in-training in Kansas. He has spent time at six Tractor Supply locations and was a district manager for the company. Enneking moved to Texas in 1994 and as store manager, oversees all store operations.
The second Tyler store has 11 team members working in the 19,097-square-foot facility, which is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. For more, visit www.Tractor Supply.com.
