The public is invited to the annual Whitehouse Business Expo and Taste of Whitehouse on April 22, 2014 at the C. L. Nix Gym at Whitehouse Jr. High from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M, hosted by the Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce. This free event will feature food samples from local businesses such as Brookshire's, Dillon's Market, Fulmer Candy Company, Little Caesar's Pizza, Dairy Queen, Chic-Fil-A, Kookie Crazy and Nelda's Cakes plus booths packed with information from local businesses. Visitors can sign up for door prizes at the individual vendor booths throughout the night and a grand drawing for a Kindle Fire.
Also, the Whitehouse Chamber will be accepting donations of non-perishable items for the local Whitehouse Food Pantry / Philadelphia Blessing.
According to Clint Ray, Chair of the Expo Committee, “the participation by our members in our last seven Expos was terrific. All of our members have done a great job of promoting their businesses and the networking has been invaluable, both to the participants and the visitors. We look forward to even more participation this year from vendors and visitors.”
For businesses interested in having a booth at the Expo, it’s not too late to register. Booths are available to all current Whitehouse Chamber members and free for all restaurants / food providers if they want to hand out samples to the crowd. If a business wants to be in the Expo, but they are not a member, they can apply for membership at the same time they register for the Expo. The Expo registration form is located at www.whitehousetx.com . Businesses that set up booths the night of the Expo will be entered in a drawing to win a free iPad Air.
