Steve Russell, founder and executive director of Empowering Texas Youth, will be on this week’s Tyler Chamber Radio show.

Empowering Texas Youth increases the chances that young people will have positive attitudes and behaviors by providing leadership, knowledge and resources to promote healthy youth and communities. Applying a program based on the 40 Developmental Assets, outlined by the Search Institute of Minneapolis, Minn., it provides the external and internal support necessary for young people to understand the boundaries and expectations of their developing social competencies and maintain positive values.
