Genecov Group remodeling medical center

The Genecov Group is renovating a 5,521-square-foot facility for Nova Medical Center, at 747 S. Beckham Ave., for $355,493.

Work by Caliber Associations, of Mineola, includes building an interior space, new walls, flooring, electrical, plumbing and mechanical.

The Salvation Army is constructing a 3,750-square-foot Women’s Auxiliary Warehouse at 201 E. Bow St. The pre-manufactured building will be used to store used furniture to be resold. Coker Building Co. Inc., of Texarkana, is the contractor for the $182,000 project.

Tyler Broadway/Centennial LP, of Dallas, is finishing out a 5,500-square-foot building for tenant Famous Footwear in The Village at Cumberland Park Shopping Center, at 8946 S. Broadway Ave., Suite 136. Service Commercial Construction, of Sherman, is the contractor for the $110,000 project.

Burns Commercial Properties is doing a fourth floor expansion to a 6,060-square-foot space at 6101 S. Broadway Ave., Suite 410, for $49,780. Work includes expanding into unoccupied space, building five new offices and remodeling the break room.

Burns Commercial Properties also is building a new office in an existing space on the second floor of 6101 S. Broadway Ave., Suite 200, for $2,200.

Caliber Associates is the contractor on both projects.

Step Rehab LLC is remodeling the restrooms, adding demising walls, offices and a warming kitchen to The Almond Tree, a 6,760-square-foot adult daycare center at 201 Winchester Drive. Stanaland Corp. is the contractor for the $47,000 project.

Negem Investments is doing demolition work, building seven rooms and painting a 2,747-square-foot building at 1828 ESE Loop 323, No. 101, for Maxim Healthcare Services. Caliber Associates is the contractor for the $38,000 project.

R2 Restaurants Inc., of Shreveport, Louisiana, is extending the Taco Bell building at 5978 Old Jacksonville Highway to include a walk-in cooler and relocating a prep sink. Chris Gardner Construction, of Haughton, Louisiana, is the contractor for the $30,000 project.

Rob Thompson, of White Oak, is finishing out the interior of a 900-square-foot retail space at 2701 WSW Loop 323, Suite 700, for $30,000. Work includes sheetrock, restroom and electrical. Ommy Enterprises Inc. is the contractor.

Billy Hibbs Jr. is doing minor demolition work and installing new walls on the second floor of 501 Shelley Drive for Heartland Financial Center. RPR Construction Co. Inc. is the contractor for the $10,000 project.

Manriquez Used Tires is replacing the roof at 1308 W. Bow St., for $6,500.

Andy Gugar is adding a front door entry to close off the patio at Happy’s Fish House, 2202 E. Fifth St. for $1,600. RB Construction, of Flint, is the contractor.

Lift Truck Supply filed a driveway permit for a truck entrance and turn around at 3305 Robertson Road. Taylor Concrete is the contractor.

Verizon Wireless filed permits to install three antennas, six TMA’s and six coax at 3491 Professional Drive and 1213 W. 10th St. C.A. Bass LLC is the contractor for the projects, which cost $3,500 each.

Ava Dunn, of Royal Lube, filed a sign permit for 3523 S. Broadway Ave., for $1,542. Leon’s Signs Inc. is the contractor.

 

RESIDENTIAL

Johnson Humphrey is building a 3,960-square-foot home at 760 Hampton Hill Drive for $300,000.

CFR Holdings LLC is constructing a 4,170-square-foot house at 6352 Manchester Court for $295,000. David Coopery Quality Homes LLC is the contractor.

C. Cooper Custom Homes is building a 2,262-square-foot home at 1655 Elk River for $120,000.

Duane and Rae Champagne are building a $33,000 pool at 6986 Park Slope. Blue Haven Pools is the contractor.

Kim Whitehill is getting a new front door at 419 E. Fifth St. for $3,380. Sears is the contractor.

Maria A. Hernandez is remodeling a home at 908 W. Shaw for $3,000.

W.G. Rochelle is replacing/repairing 12 windows and wood porch post at 603 E. Charnwood for $3,000.

Rolando Ramirez Lugo is doing stonework on columns and metal guardrail at 1503 N. Fannin for $2,000.

Juan J. Rodriguez and Maria Ayala are turning a garage into a bedroom at 4002 Appletree Lane for $1,700.

Applications for approval for construction on Lake Tyler were filed by Bill Hyman for Eddie Clark Contractors LLC to demolish an old house for a new house at 13211 S. Hillcreek Road in Whitehouse; and for Del Waggener to have a three-stall boathouse built by Hank Construction Co. LL at 13895 Peninsula Road in Whitehouse.

Grading permits were filed by Lisha Holcomb for 4826 Hallye Lane; and Terry Graham for 1300 Woodlark.

Driveway permits were filed by Soto Concrete for 5830 Thompson and 2544 Guinn Farms; two permits by Nacho Concrete for Utah Avenue; Piney Woods Concrete Service for 1387 Old Farm Road; and J&J Concrete for 7369 Standing Rock.

There also were one application for residential temporary electrical service, five duct-testing reports and 20 HVAC permits filed.
