Permit filed for Jacksonville Highway Taco Bell

R-2 Restaurants Inc., of Shreveport, La., filed a permit for a 2,100-square-foot Taco Bell at 5978 Old Jacksonville Road for $800,000. Chris Gardner Construction, of Haughton, La., is the contractor.

Physician’s Capital Investments LLC, of Dallas, is constructing a 6,016-square-foot building at 3824 Troup Highway for a dialysis therapy center. Young Contracting Co. is the contractors for the $511,360 project.

Wilmeth Foods, of Chandler, is finishing out a 3,000-square-foot space at 1400 WSW Loop 323, Suite 10, for Rounder’s Pizza. Dundee Construction LLC is the contractor for the $200,000 project.

Southern Classic Holdings LLC is demolishing a structure and constructing a retail center at 6721 S. Broadway Ave. for $160,000. The company also filed permits for tenant finish out work of several spaces at the site. They include a 3,132-square-foot space at suite 200 for Mattress HQ for $45,000; and a 1,279-square-foot space at suite 100 for a cash store for $40,000. Denson Construction Management LLC is the contractor for the projects.

Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores, of Oklahoma City, are renovating the 5,554-square-foot restaurant at 3685 Troup Highway for $175,000. Work includes relocating the ice cream sales counter, new seating and kitchen equipment.

Chris Hughes is turning a 6,000-square-foot space at 3219 SSW Loop 323 into a gym, Crossfit Populace, for $90,000. Harvest Construction & Remodeling is the contractor.

Goodwill Industries of East Texas is building new offices and new flooring at its 3,000-square-foot facility at 1817 WSW Loop 323 for $26,527.

Douglas R. Mehling Family Partnership, of Whitehouse, is finishing out a 797-square-foot space at 2210 Three Lakes Parkway for Denson Construction Management LLC offices for $15,000.

Hewitt Industrial Park is adding six offices, a concrete ramp, fencing and replacing asphalt with concrete at a warehouse at 3632 Shiloh Road for $20,000. Tyler Building Systems is the contractor.

American Tower Corp., of Boston, Mass., is installing a self-contained backup power generator within the existing cell tower compound at 5320 Old Bullard Road. S&K Electrical, of Gonzales, is the contractor for the $20,000 project.

Sign permits were filed by Famous Footwear, 8946 S. Broadway, Suite 136, $8,125, Tyler Broadway/Centennial LP, Anchor Signs Inc.; A&A Brake & Alignment, 320 S. Beckham, $7,164, Leon’s Signs Inc.; and American Lift Aids, 2407 WSW Loop 323, $3,540, Leon’s Signs.

Harvest Church filed a temporary use permit for a film festival at 3034 McDonald Road from April 4 through June 3.

Commercial temporary power permits were filed for Havenhill Place, 2310 Havenhill Drive; Sealtite Fasteners, 2310 E. Commerce St.; and 5105 s. Broadway.

TCMC is building a 6,863-square-foot home at 7139 Nottaway for $600,000.

Luis H. Leandro is constructing a 2,434-square-foot house at 3205 Old Noonday Road for $120,000 and a 2,110-square-foot house at 3207 Old Noonday for $120,000.

Joshua Thompson is construction a 1,988-square-foot home at 453 Ambrose for $120,000. JT Construction is the contractor.

Lorine Johnson is building a 1,630-square-foot house at 304 Boon Ave. for $88,500. Dorothy’s Design Studio is the contractor.

Preferred Pools, of Whitehouse, is building a $50,000 pool at 6822 Sherbrooke Drive; and a $52,000 pool at 2840 Woodlake Drive.

Balser Custom Homes is adding a garage with an attic and patio at 610 Trenton Drive for $40,000.

Joseph and Jessica Thompson are adding a storage building at 2002 Roy Road for $10,000. Ark-La-Tex Shop Builders, of Haughton, La., is the contractor.

Dennis Gibbs is replacing 18 windows at 1406 S. Wall Ave. for $4,996.

Jerry and Peggy Hannah are replacing eight windows at 700 Meadow Creek for $3,536. All Seasons Window & Door, of Longview, is the contractor.

Driveway permits were filed by Martin Martinez for 1243 Colc Lane; and Nacho Concrete for 3920 and 3926 Mobley Lane.

There also were two applications for residential temporary electrical service, one mechanical permit, one foam insulation installation, two duct testing reports and 20 HVAC permits filed.
