Tyler ISD files permit for new Moore Middle School

Tyler Independent School District filed a building permit for the $25 million new Moore Middle School, at 1200 S. Tipton. WRL General Contractors, of Flint, is the contractor on the 150,000-square-foot project.

Realty on Spur 248 LLC is constructing a 3,200-square-foot lease space for Scooters Coffee at 3979 University Blvd. for $450,000.

The company also filed a permit for the foundation of a 3,400-square-foot space for Steak ’N Shake at 3915 University Blvd. for $1 million.

Pack Construction is the contractor for both projects.

Broadway Power Sports is adding an enclosed display area for recreational vehicles at 2850 SSW Loop 323 for $175,000. Brad Watson is the owner.

Texas College is renovating a 3,600-square-foot weight room at 1809 N. Gaston Ave. for $40,000. Work includes replacing the restroom, painting and cleaning up the exterior, gas test and electrical reworking.

WRL General Contractors is adding to the parking lot at Bosworth & Associates, at 1818 WSW Loop 323, for $45,000.

Caliber Associates, of Mineola, is building three rooms, a conference room, restroom, break room and reception room at 1,064-square-foot office building at 921 Shiloh Road C-200 for $41,665.

The contractor also is building three walls, three doors, relocating light, painting and adding new floors to a 840-square-foot office at 821 ESE Loop 323 for $14,000.

Colliers is listed as the owner on both office projects.

The city of Tyler is demolishing the 12,000-square-foot former nursing home at 815 W. Queen for $40,630. DEAA Corp. is the contractor.

Tyler Southpark Center LP filed a demolition permit for interior work at a nail salon at 1940 ESE Loop 323 for $5,000.

Woodcrest, of Fort Worth, filed a building permit to frame and build a plywood and cultural stone base around the existing monument sign at Olde English Village, at 3400, 3500 and 3502 S. Broadway Ave. and 225 Amherst for $4,000.

Dave Patel is demolishing a covered walkway at Super 8 Motel, at 2616 WNW Loop 323, for $3,200. Carpeteria Flooring Inc., of Fruitvale, is the contractor.

Sign permits were filed by Mike Pile Auto Group, 2401 WSW Loop 323, $2,130, Leon’s Sings; Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham (currently Residence Inn), 3303 Troup Highway, Barnett Signs Inc., of Mesquite; and Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott, 1945 WSW Loop 323, $1,500, Barnett Signs.

Ivan Smith Furniture filed a temporary use permit to hold a tent sale at 920 WSW Loop 323 from March 10 through April 4.

Sue Oden filed a temporary use permit for agriculture sales in the parking lot of Broadway Square Mall, 4601 S. Broadway Ave., from March 21 through June 8.

Stereo and Video Center LLC filed a temporary use permit to hold a sale with a live DJ at 5711 S. Broadway Ave. on March 16.

RESIDENTIAL

Stonebridge Tyler LLC filed permits to construct eight duplexes that are 1,961 square feet each and cost $90,000 each. Addresses include 4071, 4073, 4077, 4079, 4083, 4085, 4089 and 4091 Stonebridge Drive.

Kashif Auludin is building a 5,557-square-foot house at 7694 Cross Roads for $500,000. Bayless Custom Homes Inc. is the contractor.

Glory Builders Inc. is building a 2,204-square-foot house at 6142 Havens Trail for $170,000.

Blue Archer Development LLC is constructing a 2,439-square-foot home at 7317 Flatrock Lane for $155,000. Crescent Builders is the contractor.

Gary and Karol Cornelius are adding a covered patio and pavilion at 6715 Speedway Court for $68,000. Colley Construction is the contractor.

Garry Penkillo is adding a study at 5203 Glen Abby for $40,000. Southern Home Builders Inc. is the contractor.

Mike Alexander, of Southwest Poolworks is building a $36,500 pool at 3614 Peggy Place.

Lynell Davis is finishing sheetrock, trim, windows and insulation at 1515 Bowie Drive for $2,500.

Ted Kamel is building a stone, brick, mortar and steel outdoor grill for $2,200 at 1115 Wilma. Jonathan Lynn Baker Fencing is the contractor.

Jorge Lopez is renovating a home at 1922 Owens for $1,500. Work includes framing, flooring and sheetrock.

Larry Fowler is replacing four windows at 612 N. Englewood for $1,266.

Jorge Bouilla filed a demolition permit for a residence at 708 N. Harris.

Michael Scott Jordan filed a permit for approval of construction at Lake Tyler East to build a boathouse. A&A Construction is the contractor.

Grading permits were filed by Jim Crane Homes LLC for 8547 Castleton Way; and Isrrael Vazquez for 216 Kilrosh Drive.

Driveway permits were filed by Merce Espinoza for 1714 S. Mahon; Martinez Concrete for 7258 Princedale; Texas College for 1809 N. Gaston; and Martinez Concrete for 6818 Castle Pines.

There also were 17 HVAC permits, two temporary gas permits, six applications for foam insulation for residential permits, five duct testing reports.
