Two arrested, one more sought after pre-dawn Tyler convenience store robbery

Police arrested two men and were looking for one more after a convenience store clerk was robbed at gunpoint this morning.

Tyler police responded to the Food Fast convenience store in the 1700 block of East Front Street shortly before 5 a.m. today.

The clerk told police that two black males had robbed her at gunpoint then ran toward the back of the business, according to a Tyler Police Department news release.

Once on the scene, officers located the getaway vehicle and three men jumped out of it and ran.

Tyler police pursued them and caught two of the three men. Parker Reed Terry, 19, of Tyler and Marquis Willoughby, 23, of Dallas were arrested.

Terry was charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest/detention.

Willoughby was charged with aggravated robbery, evading arrest/detention and a previous charge for unlawful make loud noise/music.

No one was injured in the robbery or the subsequent chase.
