An oil field worker from Tyler was killed Thursday on his job site near Seagraves.

James Croft, 43, of Tyler, was pronounced dead at the scene of an industrial accident where K&L Oilfield Service was taking down structures at Venture Chemicals, according to Terry County Sheriff.

Croft was operating an excavator when his coworkers were attempting to take down a silo tank. The silo tank fell prematurely and landed on croft and his equipment.
