Lindale Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade cancelled

Weather-related event and schedule changes as compiled by the Tyler Morning Telegraph news team:

PARADES

Lindale - The Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce canceled the Christmas parade scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. due to the inclement weather.

Tyler - Faith Goss of the Tyler Jaycees has confirmed the Tyler Christmas parade scheduled for this evening has been postponed. The parade is rescheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. 

Henderson - In the expectation of winter weather, Henderson's Christmas parade was rescheduled from tonight to 6:30 p.m. Monday.  

Whitehouse – The Christmas parade was rescheduled from Saturday to Dec. 14.

Jacksonville - The Christmas parade was rescheduled from tonight to Dec. 12.

SCHOOLS

Tyler school officials said a decision on school closures or delays would be made by 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Van ISDwill have a two-hour delay, with buses running two hours late.

FLIGHTS

An American Airlines flight scheduled to arrive at 9:55 p.m. at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport has been canceled, according to airport manager Davis Dickson. Two departing American Airlines flights - one at 6:15 p.m. and another at 6:05 a.m. Friday - also have been canceled.  

EVENTS

Marvin United Methodist Church – Camels & Carols program at the church Saturday has been canceled.

Christmas events for Grand Saline, originally scheduled for Saturday, have been canceled.
