Three armed robberies within 90 minutes Sunday night in Tyler

Police believe that three armed robberies Sunday night in Tyler that occurred within 90 minutes are related.

At 9:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to 5709 Mustang Trail, where the caller told them he had been robbed at gunpoint. The suspects were described as two black males wearing dark colored hoodies. The victim stated one of the men struck him in the head with a handgun and stole his cellphone. The suspects then quickly left the area on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries.

At 10:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1909 Sybil Lane, where the caller said two black males wearing dark colored hoodies approached her. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at her and stole her debit card.  The men then left the area on foot.  No injuries were reported.At 10:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to 2103 W. Jackson St., where the caller said that she had answered a knock at the door, after which three men entered the residence and pointed a handgun at her demanding money.  One of the men was a heavy-set male wearing a dark colored hoodie.  The second man was tall and thin wearing a black T-shirt.  There is no description on the third person.  The men stole two cellphones and left the area on foot.  No injuries were reported.
