The Edom Civic Theatre will welcome back the infamous Futrelle Sisters with the production of the third and final entry in the trilogy of plays about Honey Raye, Twink, Rhonda Lynn and Frankie.
ECT began its 17th season with “Dearly Beloved” and continued with “Christmas Belles”, both to capacity crowds.
Set once again in the fiction Texas town of Fayro, the sisters face their biggest dilemma yet as it falls to them to help save the town from extinction as businesses close and residents move out in droves. So the sisters set out to save the day in the only way they know how, with everything from petting zoos to beauty shows and Civil War battle re-enactments.
Cast members reprising their roles are Lee Shults as Geneva, Jim Tindall as Dub, Eddie Pirtle as Deputy John Curtis, Texas Desselles as Justin, Lloyd Smith as Raynerd, Jamie Shults as Rhonda Lynn, Linda Parker-Rollins as Honey Raye, Mary Ann Garrett as Twink, Vickie Tindall as Frankie and Gracie Harmon as GJ. New characters are played by Diann Desselles, Judy Griffin and Robert Viana.
“Southern Hospitality” will run Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16 at the Edom Community Center off Highway 279 in downtown Edom.
Tickets are $10 for non-subscribers; $8 for seniors and students. All seats are reserved. For reservations contact Sheila Fulford atSheila.firstname.lastname@example.org or 903-526-9334.
