Too hot to think about Christmas? Think again.
Tyler Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Christmas in July Arts and Crafts Fair takes place Saturday and Sunday in Rose Garden Center, 420 Rose Park Drive, and will include about 60 vendors.
Admission is free.
“This event is important to the Parks Department because it is a fundraiser to help cover the cost of our free programming that is provided during the year to the citizens of Tyler,” said Debbie Isham, special events/recreation manager.
Shoppers can purchase handmade crafts, unique jewelry, knives, wood crafts, framed art, goat’s milk soap, hand-sewn items, organic body products, doll clothing, photography, fine art and mixed media art, said information from the city.
Christmas in July also will feature live entertainment and appearances by Santa from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, the announcement said.
Concessions will be offered by the Corner Bakery Cafe￩ of Tyler.
